Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery
Weight-loss surgery with the follow-up that makes it work.
The operation is the short part. What determines the outcome two years later is the workup beforehand and the dietitian support afterwards — both of which are included here, rather than sold separately once you have arrived.
The doctors we use
Chosen for this procedure specifically.
- Bariatric surgeons operating laparoscopically in accredited hospitals with intensive-care units on site.
- Full pre-operative workup: bloods, endoscopy, cardiology and anaesthetic clearance before surgery is confirmed.
- Dietitian consultations before the procedure and at intervals through the first year.
- Psychological screening where indicated, because eligibility is a clinical decision, not a sales one.
Results to expect
An honest timeline, not a promise.
- Liquid diet for the first two weeks, progressing to purée and then solids over six weeks.
- Typically 60 to 70 percent of excess weight lost within twelve to eighteen months.
- Meaningful improvement in type 2 diabetes, blood pressure and sleep apnoea is common.
- Lifelong vitamin supplementation and annual blood monitoring are required.

Am I eligible?
Eligibility is usually based on BMI, related health conditions and previous weight-loss attempts. The surgeon decides after reviewing your history and tests, and will say no where surgery is not appropriate.
Sleeve or bypass?
Sleeve is more common and simpler; bypass is often preferred with severe reflux or diabetes. The recommendation comes from your surgeon after the workup, not from a price list.
What follow-up do I get after returning home?
Scheduled dietitian reviews through the first year and direct access to your coordinator, plus remote review with the surgical team whenever needed.
